Adare - Its Location

Adare is ideally located only 13 miles from Limerick City and 30 minutes drive from Shannon airport. It is the ideal base for touring some of Ireland's most popular tourist attractions including the Cliffs of Moher, Bunratty Castle, The Ring of Kerry and several famous golf courses including Adare Manor, Lahinch and Ballybunion.

Directions from Shannon Airport, 40km. 

On leaving the airport follow the N18 in the direction of Limerick/Tralee. As you approach the city roundabout take the exit for Tralee and follow the Cork/Tralee signs until you reach the N21. Follow the N21 for Tralee until you reach Adare. The Dunraven Arms is on the right hand side as you enter the village.

Directions from Cork Airport, 100km.

On leaving the airport follow the N27 to Cork. At the Kinsale Roundabout take the third exit signposted for City Centre, then follow the N20 for Limerick. Go through Mallow, Buttevant and Charleville. Having passed Croom follow the N21 for Tralee until you reach Adare. The Dunraven Arms is on the right hand side as you enter the village.

Directions from Galway Airport, 110km.

On leaving the airport follow the N18 for Oranmore/Limerick. Go through Gort, Ennis and into Limerick City. As you approach the city roundabout take the exit for Tralee and follow the Cork/Tralee signs until you reach the N21. Follow the N21 for Tralee until you reach Adare. The Dunraven Arms is on the right hand side as you enter the village.

Directions from Dublin Airport, 220km.

Follow the M50 out of Dublin heading for Limerick. Drive past the Curragh, Portlaoise, Nenagh, Roscrea and upon arriving at Limerick take the N7 signposted for Cork/Tralee and follow this until it joins the N21 to Tralee. Follow the N21 until you reach Adare. The Dunraven Arms is on the right hand side as you enter the village.

Directions from Kerry Airport, 70km.

Follow signs for Castleisland. From Castleisland follow the N21 for Limerick. Go through Abbeyfeale, Newcastle West, Rathkeale and then Adare. The Dunraven Arms is on the left hand side as you enter the village.

Directions from Rosslare Port, 200km.

Follow the N25 for Wexford and take exit marked for Cork, Limerick. At New Ross follow N25 for Waterford. At Waterford follow N9 for Limerick. Go through Carrick-on-Suir, Clonmel, Tipperary, Oola and on approaching Limerick take the N7 for Cork/Tralee and follow this until it joins the N21 to Tralee. Follow the N21 until you reach Adare. The Dunraven Arms is on the right hand side as you enter the village.
